I decided to throw some color on this sketch, but I did something a little different. Behold Link, colored as if he were a pictograph. Also, hooray for the epicness of M-shaped birds.Related content

Pretty odd color choices, how did you get them? Did you just imagine how it'd look if it were pictographed? I imagined more of a Sepia tone myself.

They're from a set of Terra tone Pitt brush pens that I have. The hair though is just yellow Prismacolor marker
I tried to emulate the look of the pictographs in Lenzo's gallery in The Wind Waker. I had had these pens for a while and didn't really have anything to do with them. I saw them sitting there and figured what the heck.

lol I meant more of how you envisioned the color choices, since I imagined them differently from what's shown here, thanks for that bit of info, though, it's nice to know what goes into art.
Not a bad idea, though, I was thinking I should limit myself like that sometime.
