based on how shocked the reply appeared to me, i was, 'in context', being satirical toward the admin's reply, not your deft and damn sneaky move of trying to pass off some dead italian's work as your own!

its good to read something refreshingly honest.
the attempt here was not to pass off da vincis work as my own, nor claim any credit for it.
i just incorporated a sketch of his into a larger composition as an element. if i had posted the sketch as a piece on its own under 'traditional art' or something, then the label of a 'copy' would hold true.
trying to 'rip' such a well known artist would not only be reprehensible, but down right stupid.
