Description
This feline, was the most feared animal who populated the ancient civilizations which arose in MΓ©xico and Centroamerica; it had a really big religious role as well as a very important militar symbolism.Thus, it becomes respected via cult and worship, believing this way they would calm its fury...
This great feline and the legends created around it have inspired me for this particular vision of the magnificence and predatorial behaviour of the Lord of American jungles.
Mixed medias, unique textures and sutile lighting games have been used again for this purpose.
Constructive criticism will be very welcome. I hope everyone enjoys it

I think the white and black striped floor is throwing me off here. To me it seems like the cat is stepping into some clean sterile environment. I like the leafy bits in the top right. I think you should have continued with that throughout the whole piece.

Ok... so I think I saw you gallery before but I've got to say that I really like your style because you are transforming different kinds of elements in your pictures together and there's often a nice result like in this one, which is comming out!
I think you also exactly know which colortones you want in a piece!

This is really interesting. I love the concept of him coming out from the light (at least, that's what it looks like to me) thereby playing off on the whole era of the jaguar/worshipping of the jaguar.... And I think that the blending into the background is just really cool lookin'.
The only thing that bugs me (and that's just personal opinion, mind you) is the tail-like things coming out of his shoulder and body.... It just doesn't look right to me...
Overall I really like this piece!

Lol!! Many people told me about the tail/antler things coming from it. I have added it in order to increase it magnificent look as well as to blend the real/surreal bond with the overall piece.
