Description Introducing Amy Williams!

If you seek Amy, you’ll find her near Indra. If she isn’t by her side, she can be found on the phone.

Amy is Indra’s closest friend and confidante. Always up in Indra’s business and probably knows her better than even her own adoptive mother Ramona. She’s the same age as Indra, only a few months apart. They met in school and quickly became friends. Due to her high intelligence and zeal at school, she is set to graduate earlier than Indra. Allowing her to begin her dream career as a lawyer much sooner. Despite this, she’s always available to Indra because she will always carve time out for her dearest friend.

Amy was lucky to grow up with a happy, healthy, loving, family unit. Both the mother and father are in her life and together. Never a delinquent or troubled youth in any way. Besides the collective trauma those 10 years of dark created. This was something Indra could only dream of. Often Indra feels like she’s on the outside looking, almost envious at times. Amy’s family treats her as their own. Indra isn’t sure if she likes her family or Amy more.

Amy is the glue that holds all the friends together. She plans the get togethers and the adventures often. Somehow balancing communication with so many people effortlessly. Indra never understands how she does it with the busy life she has. But she doesn’t care to know either. Often called the life of the party because she’s so fun to be around. She’s also very affectionate and supportive as a friend. However, Amy’s also stoic and strong willed when the time requires it.

Abreast with the burgeoning of social media. Amy is quick to catch on about who the mysterious new girl that Ignis’ has been spotted with lately. Of course she’s going to bring it up the moment she has the proof right before her. Amy wouldn’t confront anyone without making a case first.

Once the truth comes out she reaches out to Ignis herself and offers to help him if he encounters any issues with Indra. After all, nobody knows her better. Amy becomes the “secret” middle-woman when Ignis reluctantly accepts after constantly running into brick walls with Indra. She balances herself between the two until it was time to tell the truth.

We’ll be seeing her a lot in this story as she plays a major role throughout.

—————

Amy is another character that was loosely inspired by real people and another fictional character.

Her design inspiration was based solely off of Amanda Sinclair’s character from The Young and the Restless. Another reason I felt compelled to make her a lawyer. She was in the show as well.

In my defense I don’t watch the show but I often catch my mom watching it and that character had my attention. Not just for her good looks, but I couldn’t take my eyes off her.
She was so pretty…

I gave this character all the things that Indra never had. Such as a strong, happy, healthy, loving family life. Although she is single at the time, she’s happy and well adjusted. The constant source of positivity in Indra’s life. She finds comfort and fun with her friends. Never leaving anyone behind. Loneliness was never an issue for her. I thought it would be amazing for Indra to see how a well loved person carries herself through life. Of course Amy isn’t perfect, she has her laws like anyone else.
However, in Indra’s eyes she is perfection.

I have posted her a couple times by now. Some in cosplay for the holidays. I figured I should do a render of her living her dream. In her office as a successful and powerful lawyer with her own law firm.

I find writing these little character bios hard because I don’t want to spoil their roles in the story before I even get to posting or making the art. However, I did create them in such a way that they all have their own lives outside of the story. Which means there’s potential for plenty of art too. So maybe it’s a good idea.

Hope you liked formerly meeting Amy.
