I wonder what she was about to borrow before she had her "0_0;" moment seeing Cmdr. "Muscles" Shepard?

I have no doubt! I'm in rather fantabulous shape myself. Flab don't fight, after all. But I was more wondering what Liara wanted before she got sidetracked by that eyeballfull of her beloved commander?

Sorry, I go to school for animation and I have to defend my muscular female character everyday from my male counterparts.
"Maggie you know your woman doesn't look feminine at all right?" *irriated sigh*

1. one can wonder what happened to her with the remains...if she romanced shephard.
2. I liked her character and her backstory.
3. Her character development is better than other characters, and she has a personality that's unique, and character quirks.
4. I also liked the story if you romanced her, and how she saved you from the collectors.

Well...emotionally speaking losing anyone your close to is hard....it changes you...imagine going through that change and finding out they aren't gone. I think the writers handled this situation very well.
I'm pretty sure Liara isn't going to be the naive and nerdy scientist ever again and I am ok with that. I like that they are making her character grow

I understand that quite well, and they explained that fairly well in th DLC when Liara says "You can't just expect two years of mourning to vanish!" I think all the characters who transferred from ME1 to ME2 were fairly well developed (minus Kaiden / Ashley who just give the EXACT same dialogue word-for-word, making them essentialy the same generic human person and a real insult to who they once were in ME1).
-Garrus sort of tried to emulate Shepard by taking up Vigilante-ism
-Tali did that in some way, as the first two times you meet her in ME2 she is leading Quarian Migrant Fleet Marine squads on important missions for the Migrant Fleet
-Wrex listened to Shepard telling him not to give up on his people, and did something about it.
And Liara... well, she fought to bring Shepard back, and having lost Feron in the process and thinking there would never be any results of Cerberus trying to revive Shepard, wanted revenge.
I do like character development, and I supose it is good that they didn't have to give it TOO much explanation, leaving the player to figure it out themselves. (Although I still think pre-Lair of the Shadow Broker Liara is CREEPY... with that wierd eye thing and threatening to smush people with her biotics...)

See I though the "Flay you in half with my mind" things really cool...but that is just me.
What happened in my mind:
Liara: ..."I'll Flay you in half...with my mind..."
Shep: "Hot"
Liara: "Shepard!"
Hmm...I wonder if Shepard realizes how much they reakky influnrced their crew?

magp13 In reply to Lorcan0c [2011-02-01 17:16:48 +0000 UTC]
I think that is was eluding to Liara's potential to become evil...based on the way Shepard asks in ME2 much like how the other team members from ME1 evolved. She didn't directly quote Benezia on accident.
I love how complex a character they are making her into and I can't wait to see what happens in ME3...
...I have a feeling that if you destroy the reaper base at the end and TIM is still in his temper tantrum, we may be receiving missions from Liara...Or at least that is how I would write it

That's fine, I understand. If you have issues with Cameron, that's okay. I personally cannot stand this new movie "Sanctum" because the selling line is "From Executive Producer James Cameron", as if people don't know that all an executive produce does is have lunch with investors and get the funding for the film...

I'm an Animator. I'm in school for it and I am being trained in the same animation programs that the WHOLE OF "AVATAR" WAS MADE IN....
Seriously 89% of that movie was made in Maya and Zbrush.
And he said: βthe thing that people need to keep very strongly in mind is that this is not an animated film.β
Yes it is Cameron...And it's ok that it is. Animation is a legitimate art form and storytelling medium. But, no that Pretentious asshole is so afriad of his film not being "mainstream" by championing a budding artform (CG Animation) That his movie is COMPLETELY DEPENDENT ON. The man has no ball.
...
Sorry...I care alot about what I do...and yeah I completely boycotted the film when I heard the interview...I still love Alien though

Lorcan0c In reply to magp13 [2011-02-02 15:54:39 +0000 UTC]
That's perfectly understandable. I understand your views completely. The movie wouldn't be what it was without the animation. In fact most of the awards it got were soley for the animation featured in it and the concepts.
I'd say it's a the reverse of what the old animated / real footage movies were like. Like Say, the newer Star Wars movie, were everyone is real except that idiot Jar Jar Binks. With this, everything is GGI exepct the actors when human, and some of the sets, props and vehicles.
I completely agree, CG Animation is an art form to be truly respected, and I do respect it greatly. While I don't share Cameron's views on it, I still admire CG Animation and what his team did for this movie.
And yes, Aliens ranks at my #2 favourite film of all time. Those were simpler days, like the fact that he did that whole movie with only five Alien suits, yet through strategic filming and editing, created the idea that there were dozens of them at a time.

Well, relatively speaking, they are kind of easy to do in a 3/4s angle like this. When you do your construction lines (the old circle, center line and eyeline combo) there center cearse for the head tenticle is right on that center line about were the hair line would be.
Just follow where the hair line would be and space out the other head tenticles. Also in 3/4 view like this don't forget to put the tips of one or two to give is a feel of perspective.

Haha one of my favourite parts! The look on her face when she's all "what!?" is priceless hahaha xD
Another moment with her that's funny is when she didn't know Shep was joking, and was all "how could I be so dense"--just the way she said it was funny.
