I have never seen anyone put watch hands to an ammonite shell with such style! Amazing!

I've been looking over your wrapped ammonites again. I think you really have a good thing here, you don't over-embellish and overpower the fossils.

Thanks. I did one of these before which pretty much slipped under the radar till two friends kind of fought over it. The biggest problem is getting afforable parts. And finding the right marke for selling the steampunky stuff!

I wish I could get a full-size clock that looked like that. This is badass.

I want to make one so badly! Biggest part of the problem is that the ammonites big enough for a wall clock, or ever a desk one are too pricy for me. But I figure maybe someday I'll find one a bit damaged that the seller will give me a good deal on. In theory you could just get a cheap craft store clock kit, drill a hole in a large fossil and put the thing together and look for vintage additions at leisure.

Thank you. And they are wonderful. And oddly addictive. Besides making jewelry with them, I've a few for display!
