Lovely idea! The materials used all work so well together!

Huh, seems like they'd be more common. Out of curiosity, if you work with sterling filled wire, would you use dead soft or half hard on the trees themselves? I'm wrapping trees around stones and I want to start using higher quality wire, but I don't know which to order without having it in my hands and bending it to see if it's the right... bendiness. Lol.

I don't work with sterling filled, so I don't know what to tell you. I can tell you that when I use gold filled I use dead soft for the trees. (Joint problems.)

Dead soft just sounds so soft. Ah well, I'll have to go play with it at the bead store and decide for myself. I did find that brass is way too hard to work with on trees, it's such a fricken pain >.<

I really like these with the fruit, too. It's very wearable.

Thank you. I still haven't found the right beads for other fruits.
