Has anyone noticed how most of my titles are single words? XDDDDANYWAY. This is incredibly sexy Lavi from D. Gray-man
I really love this drawinggg. I tried out a different (smoother) coloring style, which is really just noticeable on the skin, hair, and crappy background. I really doubt anyone will notice that anyway though, but now that I just mentioned it...I tried to add more depth by using purple for the shadows on the white and in the black too. Since I hate coloring with black. Intensely. I really love the brightness of this pic. It's so happy
Anyway, hopefully I'll be posting some stuff from my AP Art class, which I shouldn't be in cuz I succckkk. It'll mostly just be homework and stuff though, since I forgot to photograph my summer work (yes, they're all HUGE). That's about it right now though...

I think my favourite part of this is the hands, that would have most definitely taken me forever to do, like years. The way it stands out against the green background is phenomenal. I really Like it.
the only thing I notice with that is that the fingers on his left hand seem disconnected where they bend, you might want to take away just the very edge line where they connect. Also the only other thing that I notice is that the chin and his right side of his face are somewhat to....edgy... pointed I suppose..

I like this a lot, but I think the background isn't that great. It really doesn't set a mood. Also, his headband should be a different color, such as blue.

And I appreciate your critique. The background was quite an after thought, so I wasn't really thinking about it x.x As for the headband... Lavi is a character from a manga, and green is the color of the headband.

Dunno who he is, but I like the pencil work. Very smooth laydown of color. Highlights in the hair and sleeve are particularly nice.
