This is my contribution to this year's Maikka Fortnight ! I'm only, like, a week late, but better late than never.Instead of doing separate prompts this year, I decided to make a comic with the prompts. Originally it was going to be one prompt per panel, but matching them up perfectly proved difficult at best. So instead it just flows from prompt to prompt without any regard to the number of panels.
The prompts I used, in order: sleepover, wolftail, catch, concealed weapon, long distance, dance, and colors. But let's be honest, this is really all about wolftail and colors.
New headcanon: while the girls were traveling together, Ty Lee stayed in a frilly pink circus tent and would have the other girls over for sleepovers whenever they were in the mood to humor her.
I apologize for all the pink. I think it might be Ty Lee-vision.

Yes to this. I like how Ty Lee seems happy she isnt the only one who like Sokka. The knife family threat is pretty good and the tumbler panel is well done. Good flow of motion.

I can go with that headcanon.
I love this comic. Us Maikka fans have tossed about the theory that Mai noticed Sokka during their first few encounters just as much as Ty Lee did (in her own quiet way), but up until now it's never really been explored. Great job making Ty Lee's dialogue all silly and fun, and the way's she's practically in constant motion even while she's just having a simple conversation. I love Mai's threatening look in panel 6, but my favorite part is the last two panels, where Mai indulges in a little Sokka-fantasy and then gets all blushy about it.
It is a very pink piece, but muted enough to be easy on the eyes, and the different tones keep everything distinct. It almost feels like a bunch of paper dolls woke up and started interacting, which is a very cool effect.
Great job! Well worth the wait.

Mission accomplished. B) It's always fun to play with something that could have happened within the show, though I feel this one's not quite as in character as it could be. Maybe I'm rusty from not rewatching the show. u.u
