Space Jack, as he appears in the "Ravex in Tezuka World" anime.As much as I despise that hat in "Black Jack 21", I can accept the shades. Makes him look that extra cool!

Yep! Though, I find it quite funny that everyone wears futuristic suits, but the only change with Black Jack's design is the additional shades. XD;

I really like the colors in this since they stand out and are smoothly implemented. The background and text goes nicely with this too. Very nicely done with his face and hair too. I also like how his outfit came out as well.

Yes, the hat (any hat for that matter) doesn't suit BJ.
The shades I could tolerate because of the anime setting (every other character were wearing futuristic Star Trekky-like attire. Black Jack wears the same clothing but with the addition of shades.)

Awah! You made the shades look cool on him(I thought they looked kinda stupid in the animation, but they look great here, ^0^)! And the cape, the cape, the cape! *squee!!*
(Normally, I find BJ too adult/gentlemanly, but this, this makes me reconsider a bit.)

I didn't think it was too bad, but I was quite worried if they (production staff) decided to have BJ operate with the shades on. 
Too adult/gentlemanly? To me, with how Tezuka draws BJ it seems to lean on either way. May it's his cute drawing style and that he is able to make BJ quite fun and comedic at times. The OVA made him look very manly and serious. The TV series leaned towards Tezuka's style but still wasn't able to capture BJ's comedic and hotheaded characteristics well enough.

Yeah, it would be ridiculous. XD; Actually, I was thinking that it would end up being a high tech gadgety shades that would aid him in his ops, but then that would defeat the purpose of him being a highly skilled surgeon.
I've seen the OVA, then the manga as the TV series wasn't out then.
Oh, he's serious compared to many other characters, just that he has these other traits that we tend to forget.

That would be a bit much. But Space Jack is another character in an alternative universe, so I ended up thinking that they would take it that far. XD; So I was preparing myself with how he's going to be presented in the anime.

He does have that dark look. Pinoko sure does help balance things out. The complete polar opposite to BJ. XD

I totally agree with you on the fanfiction like story! Which is why I'm not exactly a huge fan of Ravex. XD; Also, the repeated abuse of recycled animation and glow annoyed me.
