Here is an updated version of my Tellarite logo, not much has changed, just a bit more refinement and a change of the effects.The original can be seen here:

indeed.
I tend to redo logos that are already canon, and enhance them and make them 3d or better resolution etc or simply tweak them a bit and stay within the tradition, but as you say when none exists its up to others to conjure up one.
In my case rather than me now adding yet another variation of a tellarite for example I would use yours as the standard since no better one exists, and instead opt to make one for a race that is still without a logo / emblem

Thanks, glad to hear my logo is good enough for that. I really only made it as I was planning on making a Tellarite ENT era race for a game mod that I have put on hold due to time restrictions. That's the reason I also did the UE, UESPA, Vulcan and Andorian logos as well.Β

looks great, so many alien trek races have no logo so always great when you see aΒ creation that really would suit

I agree it's a shame they haven't got logos, I guess it's up to us fans to make some up to fill in the gaps.Β
As I have said in the past:Β Just because it's non-canon doesn't mean we can't accept it in lieu of canonical information.

in the middle of doing another batch of logos, and browsing memory alpha and places for logos to work on and gotta say this version is excellent.

Thank you, yes it was my own design, inspired by the little logo in the corner that appeared back in like the 70's or something in one of those non-canon source books or something. I choose the colours to emphasis the Tellarites being a more agricultural species and so the Earth tones seemed to fit. I also tried to have the logo base a little on a pig snout for obvious reasons.Β
