Not an actual member of the Daughters of Dagon, Phnn'lo is still called upon to bless the team before dangerous missions. Yn'thya-li is particularly insistent on this ritual, which may be partly because she has a girl-crush on the high priestess.

Phnn'lo-zhn'loa was the favorite great grand-daughter of the former high priestess and she was accepted as her personal acolyte after a scandalously small number of decades of service. Nepotism, yes, but Phnn'lo mostly just stood in for the real priestess when she was distracted by other matters. And anyway, she expected to get at least a thousand years of on-the-job training before leaving to run a church of her own somewhere else.

But when the undersea city of Y'ha-nthlei was besieged by the U.S. Navy in 2013, Father Dagon telepathically gathered the minds of all of the elder Deep Ones to discuss strategy and reprisals. When nuclear depth charges obliterated the city and killed Dagon, the backlash killed almost all of the oldest Deep Ones. This left Phnn'lo in the unenviable position of suddenly becoming the highest ranking priest in Y'lu Y'loa. It's been rough, but she's doing her best to keep the faith.

I really struggled with picking colors and tones for this, but I think the final version came out pretty well. It definitely hit the "I need to call this done," stage.
