Toph paaants!They're made out of a really nice suiting fabric and are terribly comfortable. The button has the fire nation symbol painted on it to match the button that holds her little strap/tabard thingys (seriously now what do I call those things). I put horsehair braiding in the hem to keep the bottoms flaring out nice and wide. I love horsehair braiding!
I'd like to get her top finished, too, by this weekend... It's a definite possibility!

Those look pretty cool. I'm only part way through watching AtLA at the moment so I have no idea if a Fire Nation version of Toph's outfit's canon or not, but it sounds awesom either way!
You seem to be working on a lot of cosplays that involve baggy shorts, BTW.
