In my travels I have encountered many entities more dangerous than the metroid. These have ranged from primordial plants that secrete corrosive juices to corruped shadows of those who raised me. However as these species are of little use to the Galactic Federation or its rivals, I have never received an order to eliminate any one of them, no matter how invasive or deadly.

Exterminating the metroids on Zebes made sense. Eradicating them from their home planet, less so. It seems that things are not so black and white.

And to celebrate the release of a truly excellent installment in the Metroid series. I am, of course, referring to AM2R.
