Thanks! While we're on the subject, have you seen the way she looks in that new Ben 10 show? I only saw a glimpse of it because I was doing something else, but I kinda hated her new design. Just wondering what other people thought. I don't understand why they'd make her all nerd-chic.

I think she looks awful! They made her ugly! And have you seen her anodite form now? She has a outfit, and just looks stupid! They ruined gwen for me! And kevin, and i guess ben is okay.

I only saw her nerd look, which I didn't care for. Not that I dislike nerd girls, I just prefer Gwen's earlier appearance.

I enjoy this! not familiar with the character but loving her hair a lot. Nice colour pallet in general!

Since I was only using the soft pencils from the scan as my basis, I felt like keeping the colors soft and pastel as well. When I applied a "hue" layer of peach over everything, it really looked cool. I only erased the area of the green eyes so they would pop out among everything.
In terms of her character, she's the cousin of the titular character Ben Tennyson (Ben 10, get it?) and is the level-headed and mature member of their team. Pretty much their Hermione. In fact I'm pretty sure the whole shows is largely modeled on Harry Potter. At least the parts of the show after the initial annoying kid phase of it.

Glad you like! I was trying really hard to keep her basic proportions right. She has super skinny limbs and a long neck and lollipop-type head. In fact I think my drawing is even too beefy compared to how she looks in the show.
