drawn a very long time ago-Neriths [link] sword, more the way i want it to look.
scarlet star is the embodiment of a phoenix/dragon god, and has flames swirling around its blade. the phoenix beak at the bottom of the sword steals souls when it enters a body. and there are only a few blades or weapons in existence that can do that (in my story anyway). the souls stolen are used to increase the potency of the swirling fire. the scarlet stars fire is on average at 1000C......its very hot
i tried to make this in 3d about 3 years ago. see my futile attempts here... [link] i made it when i was a lot less skilled in 3d. i almost dont even want to link it.... whatev

Fun looking. Looks more like "sword of death" than anything with dragons, but very nice effect and all. The spikes all over make it look really nasty.
Is this influenced by "Spawn" or "Diablo" or anything?

nope. the scarlet star wasnt really inspired by anything. besides the god i created, half phoenix and dragon. the spikes are the phoenix's spine.

Fuckin sweet dude. I don't know though, I think both versions of this sword, (this one and one from Nerith's pic), look tight in different ways. That is a pretty good attemp though on the 3D for having been back in the day. It's a complex model man. You should finish it one day.
