Well this is one I wasn't originally planning to share on here but seeing as there's a NEW POKEMON MYSTERY DUNGEON (woohoooo yeah!) on the way, it made sense I guess. This is a team made up of (from left to right) my sister, me, my friend, and my friend's husband (who is also my friend). The characters were decided going by our results on the PMD:Explorers games' quiz, except for my sister, who accepts no result other than Squirtle. Like most of my other PMD team artwork, this is coloured with colour pencils, A5 size.
I am very much excited for the new game So far it seems to be fixing the issues I had with GtI. Don't get me wrong, that was a good game, it's just that the content seemed really lacking compared to EoS. Having a small amount of Pokémon in it weakened the overall experience for me, and the post-ending content was practically non-existent. Plus the 'only do one job in a dungeon at a time' thing kinda sucked. The soundtrack was fantastic though, there were some good new features (in particular, all team members getting EXP whether in your party or not) and the ending made me cry more than the previous game's endings did (in a PMD, that's a good thing, haha).

PSMD (so many acronyms! And sentences in brackets!) has made me happy just for including all the starter choices again. Admittedly, I was hoping for an even bigger selection that included more non-main series starters as well, especially Helioptile, but it's still much better than the previous choice of 5 huh. I look forward to taking the new personality quiz and seeing what it labels me as Of course if I don't want to use what it gives me I'll be aiming for Cyndaquil instead. Which reminds me, I really hope genders are displayed again, but that this doesn’t put restrictions on which starter you can be.
I'm pretty confident that the story and soundtrack will be great. The soundtrack in particular. The other little thing I'd like to see is being able to evolve your hero and partner characters earlier, if not during the main storyline then during the post-ending story (rather than right at the very end when virtually all things of interest have been completed). The Rescuers games let you do that, although it was at the expense of your characters having any expression portraits. So if they could fix that too... That would be awesome. Letting evolved main characters have personality wouldn't be too difficult, would it?

Anyways that's enough of my rambling. For those who love the PMD series, what are you hoping for in the next instalment?
