These are not a recognized breed. They are a modern version of a bandog or bandogge. These are molosser working class dogs. This one is a mastiff and american staffordshire terrier. Check out John Bayard Swinford if you are interested in the modern version of these dogs. They are amazing.

I often wanted to try this type of cross breeding, as I have had many mastiffs and believed that crossing  with the amstaff  or pitbulls  would create something  awesome.    I do remember that some indicating such  peogeny of that breeding would or could bee called bandog.    Now I have proof in your picture that the results would have been awesome.    Thanks for providing other material for me to consult as well.
