I dedicate this picture of my latest work in cow horn to my dear friend Phillip ([link] ), for a special day in his life. Today is his birthday and i very much appreciate his work.Happy birthday Phillip !!!......your works is exquisite.
I've made this horn at the request of a client who want to give it as a gift to the Hunters Museum.

Pe langa executia de exceptie si materialul ii da un farmec aparte datorita gradientului. Parca e trecerea dinspre noapte spre zi incepand de la varf....

Piesa aceasta mi-a fost comandata de un vanator care o doneaza unui muzeu cu specificul respectiv pe undeva prin Breaza sau cam asa ceva, nu mai stiu exact. Are dimensiuni mari, cca 50 cm lungime

Trec mereu pe langa el in drum spre Brasov. O sa ma opresc odata sa-l vizitez.

Thank you Phillip, you're kind to me mate and a wonderful friend. I was many times inspired by your designs but I've never had the opportunity to carve Celtics ornaments yet.

I continue to see many things that i need to improve on in myself and my work, learning from you and expanding upon what you do. To then Honoringyou in some way by adding these lessons to my work in the future. NOT copying you or your works but by allowing myself to create from these lessons learned, items/designs in my own style that reflect aspects of what you have inspired us to do by your own works!
It is good that those here can be inspired and learn from others and expand there abilities to better their own art that is the hope anyway!

I can not say more than, Thanks God for open minded and open-hearted sincere people like you to have around me in this world to share dreams,thoughts,skills,talent and true friendship,because all the rest is simple,cruel and bloody real life every day. I believe that some day, people like us will change the color,shape and taste of this world by working together in spirit and make it better. It maybe a hidden utopia from my humble soul or so but I know for a fact that, politicians and all the people with no skills but to talk or to cut flesh from us every day, they need us to change they're life. I just hope I'll live long enough to see that happened.
