It's been raining non-stop for about a day or two. There isn't even a storm, but the rainfall has exceeded that of Typhoon Ondoy three years ago. It's a little scary, and it's quite depressing, what's on the news.
But I guess, like all the past disasters, we can handle this.
It always warms my heart whenever I see my countrymen on television, smiling. It may just be the camera, or the news crew, but they're smiling nonetheless. Even in the midst of all the devastation, they still have the strength and will to smile. Sometimes, you can see them waving eagerly in the background, or cheering happily.
I was scrolling through that popular social networking site [yes, I must use that term. XD] when I saw something that went:
. . . 'Baha ka lang. Pilipino ako.'
Which I guess, is a nice way of looking at things.
Well, I pray that things return to normal as soon as possible.
P.S. THERE ARE SO MANY JOKES ABOUT THE FLOOD. XD I haven't the faintest whether that's a good or a bad thing.
Because of the said rain, I haven't had school for two days. And it's my exams.
The good thing: more time to study~
The bad thing: rain, flood, and the fact that it's making me a tad lazy.
Oh well. I have two exams left for the quarter: Chemistry and English -- both of which are quite fun. 
Ehehe, this school year's turning out to be fun. I'm really enjoying the lessons. Although they say this is the most difficult year in high school [ /hints age ], it's quite enjoyable -- or maybe that's just me. My teachers are really fun. I had initially though they'd be scary, but I was mistaken.
