To his credit, James Cameron's Avatar may look like Halo, but Halo looks a hell of a lot like Aliens.I still see SPARTAN-IIs jumping out of those helicopters, though... Why do tilt-rotor aircraft have to be the staple to every sci-fi movie!?

Ha ha ha, this is great. Honestly when I first saw Avatar, I immediately thought "Halo", riht of the bat I thought that. But to me Halo is a lot better and more exciting.

That's easy - most places the characters go don't have landing strips, and choppers give the scenes a military realism.
Not familiar with HALO so I'm not quite getting the funny, but Jake with a .50-cal will definitely do some damage.
