Made for *aelthwyn 's birthday in 2012, this is a smaller version of [link] This one has the same waxed canvas and suede lining (in a different color) as the previous, but the leather bits are out of a really oily chrome tanned leather that's nice and waterproof. Also, this is the first bag I've used a lock on. Because of the valuable contents, I thought a lock would be quite appropriate. It's large enough for an DSLR camera with a small lens and a large lens next to them. Also has a little pocket for memory cards and such.Waxed canvas, faux suede, chrome tanned leather, solid brass hardware.

Yes, the style is partly due to the quality materials used. The waxed fabric is an old-fashioned waterproof fabric and the leather is also quite traditional

See this one is cool, but I loved the leather trim work on the previous. This looks like something I would give to my mom, not an insult just seems more like a female's bag.

Wow, this is neat! I love how you always seem to think of everything in terms of what pockets might be used to carry, and so what sizes and shapes they should be. You never leave anything out! The lock is a wonderful idea for what it holds, and the fact that it's waterproof is perfect since *aelthwyn loves taking outdoor nature photos, and seems to be around water quite a bit. I'll be needing one of these as soon as I get my own crazy awesome DSLR camera...
