Description This outfit shows one of the Vokman shirts I made in Utah over my summer break. This one's made from an Egyptian cotton bed sheet and I got over 4 yards from it. I call this my Gold shirt, as I'm sure you can see why The rest of the outfit came from *aelthwyn s wardrobe, since I don't own any black pants. The turban is just a knit dress wrapped around my head and the belt is a tassel. All in all, it looks rather persian, which I dig. I'll be posting more photo's throughout the week.

it is, doesn't breathe as well as I'd like, but that's because it such a dense weave

Lighter weight, more open fabric. Even a different fiber like linen would be better.

True. I do have quite the love affair with light, cottony fabrics myself. Living in the humid sub-tropics tends to keep you leaning towards that end of the fabric spectrum...
