I made this around Christmas 2016 as a gift for a friend. It is acrylic on canvas (18x24 cm). I like blue very much so I used mostly blue tones for this one with the exception of the face (skin tones) and hair (yellow and warm browns).ยI hope you like her and as always feel free to comment.

Ah she resembles me of Greek paintings, actuallly. I like your concept of her, it's original and has personality - she looks generous and sympathic instead of an arrogant feel I get from most of her depictions

Wow thank you so much. I grew up reading Greek mythology. My personal favorite was Appolon, especially after I saw the picture of a statue of him in a book I read. I believeit was a picture ofย Apollo Belvedere if I am not mistaken.

Thank you. I like to tell stories with my paintings. I do not think I manage all the time but I will try and improve. Anyway, I am always thinking about a story when I paint something.
