Description Seventh entry to the series and getting closer to the end. Insuricare from The Incredibles, a great place to work!

Absolutely love the movie.. it's my favorite one in terms of the art department and the score. Lou Romano and Michael Giacchino

The idea was to capture the cold, hostile, opressive feeling of working day and night at Insuricare.
Maybe a mix between Terry Gilliam's Brazil and the retro look of Nomanisan Island?
Well, at least that's what I aimed at..

Pixar Establishments:
-Pizza Planet
-Harryhausen's
-Cozy Cone

-Gusteau's
-Al's Toy Barn

This poster image you've done of Insuricare also looks very nice, and it's too bad that Bob Parr ended up losing his job at such a company, huh?

Awesome tribute and graphic execution. Insurcare offices were horribly small and white, but really stylish.

I like it. As you said, it captures the cold feel of the actual place. Though, their motto doesn't make me feel safe, lol. They should work on that.

A clock needs to be clean, well-lubricated, and wound tight.

I think what I really love about this is the aesthetic conflation of Insuricare with the Chronos OS from the computer on the island; it's very well done.

I think you've done a lot with the spartan nature of the piece and really trimmed down to the bone in a really good way. However, I find the dark gray block in the center a bit dominating, and while I think it accurately represents the Eastern Bloc mentality of Insuracare, aesthetically I find it unappealing. I wonder if just a bit of translucence in that section might restore a bit of balance to the overall composition.

All in all, well done.

I love it! It's great how you've used the hand from the logo for this poster, and the retro-sci-fi look of it.

Congratulations!

yeah, the hand was a always a priority..
but it wasn't until the very end that I found a good way to incorporate it.. glad I did though

Thank you Edgar, always appreciate it

Totally agree with you on the art direction on this film! I have the color script that Lou Romano did for the film framed on my wall (I cut it out of the Art Of book)

Great work, as usual!

Thank you Corley!
I really strived to make this one blend with the look of the movie.
After my Al's Toy Barn poster, which has no resemblance to the source material, I felt that making a connection with the movie should be a priority with this one.
