It's really realistic and stunning. I like it so much. I have had some effort by that software of Carlo H. Sequin. I had a problem that I did not finally understand if the basic shape that sculpting starts with, is always that simple form or can import new basic forms to start with. Do you know the answer? Is there any other basic shape to start with there in Generator software?

As one who has spent 30 odd years fabricating sculptures in metal with organic shapes like this,I can tell you it would be an arduous fabrication, but entirely lovely...
Most metal sculptors would CAST a shape like this, probably in bronze),which on this scale is OK,but I prefer to fabricate everything,so when I see this shape I think of how I could put it together with pieces of formed sheet (like stainless).
That's why I say,"an arduous task". Worthy for sure ,but many long hours of work...

This would look fantastic in formed sheet!
I've seen some of your creations. You do some killer work!
Thanks for taking time to comment.

I definitely have to learn how to use some of those programs.
I have Modo (and some others)but not enough RAM to run them properly.
They would certainly augment my work...

I bought a Maxwell license on Ebay a few months ago for roughly half price. The guy was an architect and had a studio with several licenses. I haven't really had the time to learn it yet though.
Judging by your modeling you've got Rhino down pretty good!

Thanks TJ. Yeah, I've played with Maxwell a bit. Just haven't had the time to really get it down well yet. I have several other programs too such as Carrara, Bryce, Mojoworld, Modo, Silo, Xenodream, trueSpace and a few more. For me Vue and Modo were relatively easy to just jump into and get started. But like I said...wish I had more time to spend...

Hi, nice render.
I've downloaded Sculpture Generator, but it gives me an error when i try to open it:
Application Initialization failed
can't read ''errorInfo'': no such variable. and it just opens the program as a small grey window with no menus or anything. Im running winXP pro sp2. Does anyone know what wrong?
Thanks

Sorry. I just tried to send the zip file through gmail but they won't send it for security reasons because it contains an ".exe" file!!! Besides that even zipped up it's 7mbs.
Could you describe exactly the steps you took? and what happened? Maybe I can help you sort this out with a few more details. Just send me a note okay?

Ok, I download the zip file, extract into a new folder, then go into the bin folder and double click on the .exe file, then it gives me the same error( Application initialization failed - can't read ''errorInfo'': no such variable), i click on ok, and opens the program( small normal window named 'generator' but missing any sort of menus). That's all i can tell you really.
