This is (IMO) one of your best pieces. The lighting and the shadows are photo-realistic. It is a beautiful capture of David Collings and has a touch of magic to it to go along with that historical costume charm. I'm totally impressed! :-D

Wow, you're really good. Tonight I was looking at that Mr. Spock you made for me. It hangs on the wall behind me in my living room, but I can see it in the large mirror across the room and I don't see any flaws in his facial structure. I must say you rock with a God-given talent. Awesome result you've got here (as always, actually, looking at your gallery).
I've never seen pens used in this way, and its very interesting how the output hangs somewhere between looking like very accomplished vector work (on the hair), traditional charcoal/pencils (ear, spectacles, cheek), and a painterly treatment of the eye and nose.
It really transcends the media.
I can't imagine the talent, skill and dedication you've had to show to master this technique. Its really inspiring.
