Description Pencil on A2 Bristol (photo of drawing so far)
Part of monthly reference challenge.

A lot to do , i still need to do the bottom of her face properly .. that's not working yet. I had to erase the right eye and lower it after it was done, pretty pleased it doesn't show . i'm struggling with concentration after not drawing for a while.

Update.... I'm happier with it now, i think the face looks better than before (not quite finished around the mouth) but the image has lost a lot of definition and detail in the photo which is a shame.. i think i'm roughly half way through it now

Thanks, i very nearly binned it to be honest because i didn't get the pose quite right. My drawing has the head at a slightly different angle which really threw me out, but i posted it instead to stop myself and i'm slightly changing the face but it will still be her .. i hope

Yes woohoo indeed, or it would be if the damn thing was working right .. haven't had a day where it all went well yet and my neck hurts like hell but it's great to be drawing again

Thanks, just getting started .. i'll try to do the whole reference but it may take a while as i haven't drawn for a while because i'm carrying a shoulder injury. I'm finding it hard to concentrate when i need to and i'm making stupid mistakes with proportions which i'm constantly adjusting but i'll get there in the end
