Koffer from Red Bratva. This pin is up for sale (11x17), all cash benefiting my friend Chad Fuller .If you're interested note me. Had fun doing this, learned a few new things in the process and I'm focused on improving my mistakes.

maybe a bit of dynamic!!
It does this by tilting the horizon so the lines are not parallel to the blade and keep on board with the composition with the characters, lets have more action in the picture!!

That's still a serious amount of time! One of my chibi's usually takes me 2-3 hours from start to finish!

i did this 11 x 17 so for me that was pretty fast pencils to inks. you're also doing a lot more of the chibi characters 5 x 2-3 hours...that's dedication

Nice work marr, really clean line work and hatching/texturing. Some perspective issues with the floor I think. But solid work overall. kudos mate.

thanks i enjoyed going off on the hatching and texture. i honestly don't know if the really clean line work is a plus or negative, right now that's the only way i can ink lol.
yeah i agree 100 about the perspective, there's a few other things not quite right on koffer's anatomy. not championship caliber work but it is indeed a nice step in my improvement.

No worries mate, I've issues with my line work, prefer to avoid lines altogether tbh, so its nice to see some really clean ones =d
Yeah there's a few things with the anatomy I guess, but anatomy is always a pain, it'll get better with time. Is there any reason you didn't shade koffer like the other guys?, is it just to make him pop?, sort of takes him out of the scene a bit.. if ur looking for crits that is, never know if folks want to be told what could be improved. (Speaking of which, feel free to crit away on any new stuff I post)

i felt that if i shaded koffer he wouldn't pop as much and kind of just fade into the back ground if i did (shade). plus, i figured if it got colored the colorist could and a shadow that wouldn't take away from the piece.

No worries mate, don't really know much about comic work flow, line to colouring etc. Suppose line wise maybe you could show the light source with thinner lines on that side. Thicker for the shadowed areas. That's just me tho. Nice work either way.
