At the turn of seasons, the skies of the old world are a vast cloudy sea, carrying rain and thunder from the southern ocean. Their white veils cover the sight of the Warring Pantheon some weeks at a time, barring the sight of raining steel and fire. But there is no peace in this treacherous sight, as remnants of the heavenly war will still fall and break through the clouds to burn the lands below.

The Grand Duchy deploys entire fleets of observers, monitoring and charting the constant fire falls, sending troops to aid and recover. Great ships, emerging from the clouds, carry the artifacts and remnants of the heavenly war away, protecting the populace from the dangers therein.
Much speculation and mystery surround the lonely isles where the remnants of the war are being collected. Only the salvage fleets and survey vessels ever make the journey, and those serving upon them are sworn to oaths of silence. Rumors abound and tall tales of the god's fall are retold across the world. But amid the chaos of this age, little can be known for sure.
