I like the hot and cold contrast or a low to high heat.Β "Out of the frying pan and into the fire" type of visual scenario.Β when coloring, how do you chose your base color palette and the color scheme you intend to use in your work?

I love how you guys use outlines, like the red in this.
I also love how Immonen doesn't draw attention to the women's revealing costumes
I don't know who designed them but I think they're a little sad, it's not even subtle.
But artists like Stuart and Frazer Irving avoid over sexualising them.
Unlike some artists who are keen to flaunt every female character's body decrease waist-size and increase chest size.....

Very nice Marte! Gotta ask, as a fan of your since the days of New Warriors and aspiring colorist, What made you decide to add a red color hold that seemingly comes from the opposite angle (right) of the hard red light (from the left) on the images in the bubbles. Also, were you not afraid of Losing cyclops in the middle using a red-ish color hold on him as well?
Ultimatley it looks awesome. Just wanted to get in your head and try to wrap mine around your thought process. This cover has a very experimantal quality to it.

Como siempre, tu trabajo es asombroso e impactante. Y realmente complementas MUY bien el trabajo de Immonen.
Me encanta particularmente como agregas informaciΓ³n al dibujo, pero a la vez siendo muy fiel y respetuoso con el mismo.

Claro. En cierta manera, es como si la informaciΓ³n estuviera siempre ahΓ, y uno, como colorista, "solamente" se encarga de hacerla visible.

Awesome colors, but I particularly like the costumes of this new Brotherhood. Cyke's X-shaped visor looks reaaaaaally good.
Also, you and Stuart Immonen was a combo I hadn't imagined, but damn do you guys work well together! The book is one of my favorites right now, and it is in good part thanks to the work of the both of you. (Of course, Bendis being the writer doesn't hurt...)
