i really like the genuine feel. the only thing i would suggest would be adding to the lighting on her right eye. im not sure if the depth of that shadow was intentional, but i think it detracts from the symmetry of the photo.
but well done on the tones, and the expression.
i admire film work.

it is a good paper, even more so if you are lith printing, then it is amazing. Either way though, i find it and oriental are my favorites, what do you use?

I have some huge Arista educational grade Fiber paper, for cost effectiveness at such a size. I tried the Kentmere Lith paper, but i got discouraged when I tried to use it only to discover how easily it bruises. that and It took 2 hours in the developer. I'll try it agin wit some warm lith developer. My old fall back has alwase been Arista VC fiber. I love the green tone I get from it. What kind of negative did you use for this print? it looks really crisp.

That is just a 35mm nothing special negative. Umma, i think that was just some tri-x 400. Overdeveloped to get a little thicker emulsion, but that is all. I really want to start shooting some 4x5 and 6x6. What do you shoot?

I shoot some 4x5 on occasion. mostly digital these days, my school gave me a Nikon D70 which is a joy to work with most always. I have a sturdy fully manuel nikon 35mm and a bunch of toy and antique cameras of diferent sizes, mostly 120. I thought that over developing would give you thinner emulsion. Why would you want thicker emulsion?

When I have a little thicker emulsion it seems to split filter more to my liking yeah. I have a D70 also, fun cameras

No, but she chopped a bit off the day after..i don;t think that would make much of a difference though. She got a hair cut since you saw her probably.
