Yes, that was great as well. Sadly, I felt a bit let down by "Funeral Games" ... It was just a tad too depressing for my liking.

It is. I felt most sorry for Bagoas, but there's really so much death and tragedy in Alexander's life, not least the death and tragedy he brought upon the people he wanted to conquer ... All those lives lost, of men and beast alike, and for what? A few fleeting years of glory, before his empire fell apart again.
The horses dying in the desert broke my heart, as did the scene on the battlefield after the Macedonian troops had vanquished the Sacred Band of Thebes.
