天狗食日 The sun eating dog(If I translate word by word it'll be: Sky Dog Eats Sun ...
In ancient times, people believed that solar eclipse is caused by a dog who's trying to devour the sun.
So every time when this phenomenon happened , they'll do things like beating drums and gongs or set up fire crackers, making a lot of loud noises just to scared away the dog...

IT is not sweet 。that is a chinese saying called 天tian（sky） 狗gou（dog） 食shi（eat） 月yue（moon）
Means Heaven dogs eat the moon（ total lunar eclipse ）

Sweet, cool, beautiful, scary, wondrous.. Art can be described in so many ways; yes what the words mean is nothing to be cheerful over; however, remember that most of us don’t post comments like this because of what it -means- but what the picture presents. For me, the artist really made it look like it was printed on fabric and the design of the dog and sun is really impressive to look at. So I will view this as some sweet art and I’ll await more of the kind for the future.
