SIMBA: Kion, Bunga tells me you’ve been associating with a Hyena. Is this true?

Kion is surprised that his best friend Bunga would rat him out although he did have feelings that he would given how mischievous, somewhat stupid, and ignorant he can be.

KION: Yes. But not from Janja’s Hyena clan.

SIMBA: Kion, I can’t believe you would do that. I told you that we do not associate with Hyenas. I don’t care if that Hyena is not from Janja’s Hyena clan. We do not associate with Hyenas at all!

KION: (standing his ground and not backing down) I don’t care what you think! I care more about respect for the Circle of Life and the heart, whether they are Hyenas or not! And that’s final!

Simba is shaken and calls for Jasiri to come to Pride Rock.
