Welp, it's happening folks! After weeks of predicting it would happen, Super Meme Guardian 4 (the more I try to process that arc the more I want to punch something) has finally teased that Mario is crossing over with that fa-UH I MEAN hit new Netflix show, Squid Game! Which I...barely know anything about myself outside of Splatoon memes, memes I'm assuming SMG4 may use for his interp of Squid Games because...well, the jokes write themselves. So I'm one to judge making this crappy comic, eh? Can you tell this is rushed? Let's go over the headaches I had with this comic. It is very much not my finest work. Sorry.
- The map I used...sucks. It was the only Squid Game map at the time I made this comic, and I'm only knowledgable of the Red Light, Green Light bit of Squid Game...and this isn't a map for THAT. It's for...Playground, or something? I know there's a Tug of War one and these wax things where if you break the star someone rips your kneecaps out and...feeds them to a dog or something I dunno. I'm not even sure if it's just another "evil dystopian government keeping people in check" thing, I don't use Netflix as streaming services are kinda shitty nowadays.
- ...Where was I going with this? Oh right, map. It's for Playground, I couldn't find/wasn't aware of any other Squid Game addons (there's plenty of them now) so I made do with what I had. Hence the greyscale Meggy being the Doll. Hell, I didn't even make the Inkling guard dupes, someone else did. I'll link it in the Addon List.
- Making this during a bout of depression after forgetting to take my medication for a few days probably didn't help.
- For some reason, bonemerging Inkling models...ONTO Inkling models has broken, so my Inksona no longer has his gloves. Sigh. Time for another redesign.
- But the most damning thing is, as you can tell...this map had no lighting, and a broken cubemap. Or no cubemap, hard to tell. Hence why everything looks so flat and cold.
- And while gathering links for the Addon List, I find the map has been updated. WITH. LIGHTING.
