I REALLY REALLY LOVE BOKU NO HERO ACADEMIA
It's imaginative, colorful, and interesting, not to mention it actually has a good dub????????
I genuinely care for every character, the action is imaginative, the protagonist is actually well-written, and I actually feel the impact of each injury! It's amazing??? I haven't seen anything quite like it! If I have, I don't remember because that's how good this series is!
So naturally, I decided to be an unimaginative doof and make an OC
I'm not saying you're unimaginative if you make OCs
I'm just saying my OCs kinda suck

KUROKAGE KURAMEI
Kuramei is a socially awkward and shy student who has been transferred into Class 1-A because of harassment from a group of students in her previous class. She finds comfort in sitting in dark spaces like lockers and cupboards, and generally prefers the dark. She has trouble speaking to other people, but does feel slightly more comfortable around Tokoyami because of their similar quirks. She has trouble accepting when somebody likes her or genuinely cares about her because she has such ahard time connecting with others.
Kuramei's harassment started with her name. The kanji in her name is actually pronounced "Kokuei Anmei" in their combinations, but separately form the words that make up her name "Kuro", "kage", "Kura" and "Mei". Her timid nature and preference for dark spaces ignited further harassment until it got to the point where she snapped and used her quirk against her bullies. She requested to be transferred into a different class after her harassers were dealt with because she wanted to try again at making friends.
Kuramei's quirk is called "Shadow Puppet". She can manipulate her shadow, and other shadows depending on the light levels, to spread into hands that bend to her will. In a normally-lit room, she can control five hands. The darker the hands, the more precise her control or the more hands she can create. Her major weakness, besides the obvious weakening by the light, is she gets extremely drowsy when she uses her quirk too often. Her quirk also has a terrible side effect: she has an awful sleep schedule! She falls asleep so often in class that people think she's narcoleptic, and she's up so late so often others think she's an insomniac!
Her hero name is "Ultra Violet"!!!

Kuramei is friends with Honchoushi Maiko and Kishino Hinata, my two other characters so far! She's challenged by them to open up to others, but can hang around them because of their laid-back personalities.
