I've been meaning to get this done for a while but I WAS LAZY and I had some free time today 8')

JASPER
Status: Lead Stallion

Age: 5 years

Breed: Welsh cob x Fjord

Height: 15 hh

Personality: Jasper is a kind-hearted stallion, with no room in his soul for malice or ill intent. With the addition of his herd members, Jasper has come into his own quite naturally. He wants to see the good in others as he hopes others will see in him. He has a hard time expressing himself properly and tends to ramble, but his intentions are always good. He is still maturing in a lot of ways and can sometimes be childish and naive, but strives to become a better stallion, not only for himself, but for those charged under his care. He is brave and stupidly loyal, and sometimes (very rarely) pig-headedly stubborn.

Brief History: Jasper never knew his father, as his mother was captured by another stallion when she was still pregnant with him. His foal-hood was rather uneventful and most of what he learned about the world was taught to him by his mother, who was also a very kind and soft-spoken individual. When he was old enough to fend for himself, Alistair, the lead stallion of his birth herd, told him to either leave willingly or be forced out. Jasper, being a non-confrontational horse, chose to leave peacefully, thus starting him on the road to his own adventures.

LILLIAN

Status: Lead Mare

Age: 4 years

Height: 13.2 hh

Personality: Lillian is a spirited mare who knows what she wants. In the midst of those she’s comfortable with, she can be demure and jovial, but when around strangers, she may become sharp tongued and defensive. First impressions are very important to Lillian, but this can prove to be a downfall as not all first impressions are correct. She’s stubborn, but not to the point where she won’t recognize her own faults. She may be young, but her life has taught her things that make her wise beyond her years and she’s able to be empathetic to another’s point of view.

Brief History: Lillian was born to a rather large herd. Her mother, Aria, didn’t have the greatest genetics, and so she was born very small and weak. This created a problem for the rest of the herd. They needed to move to a new location, but due to Lillian’s small frame and slow growth, they told Aria to either stay behind with her foal, or abandon Lillian. Aria, wanting the safety of a herd, decided to abandon her newborn. Now alone, Lillian is left to fend for herself and comes across a bear. Thankfully, another stallion, named Delta, saves her and takes her in. Lillian stays with Delta for a while, but as his herd grows, she feels out of place and yearns to be taken seriously as a mare instead of a foal. She decides to leave, but having not been on her own for any long period of time, finds that it’s more than she can handle. As by another stroke of luck, Jasper comes across her and together they form their own herd.

BLAIR

Status: Herd Member

Age: 7 years

Breed: Mustang

Height: 14.2 hh

Personality: Because of a troubled past, Blair hides her true emotions behind a wall of cold sarcasm and blatant pessimism. She feels the need to protect herself from being hurt again, and so it’s very hard to crack through that thick, outer shell, but it’s not impossible. However, although she’s difficult to get to know and her true intentions are often shrouded in mystery, she is courageous, honest (sometimes bluntly so), generous, and very strong-willed. When she thinks a certain way, it’s difficult to change her mind. Deep down, through all of her scarred and broken pieces, Blair is a caring and truly good individual. But because of that outer shell, her devotion can seem cold and even nonexistent. She would rather do good deeds in anonymity instead of being praised for them.

Brief History: Blair was born into the herd of Adney, a large gold champagne stallion. The herd was above average in size, and so Adney had a few more lieutenants to help keep his mares in order. Blair was not Adney’s son, but instead was sired by Philip, one of Adney’s loyal lieutenants, and his mate Eleanor.

Personality: Unlike his half-sister Lillian, Ty still has a lot of growing up to do and desires to find his true calling in life. He is a caring stallion, though can be incredibly naive and take someone’s word as truth without doing his own research. He can become stuck in his own ways because he is young and stubborn, but takes discipline well. Ty can sometimes be a bit overbearing and just wants to make friends, but has a short temper sometimes.

Brief History: Ty grew up in the same herd as Lillian. He was born a few weeks earlier, so they are very close in age. However, he was born strong and healthy, so he could keep up with the rest of the horses. His mother, Kora, raised him like any other foal. She was a little harder on him, because she knew someday he would be thrust out on his own. But she still showed him love and cared for him as any devoted mother would. Ty spent the first 2 and a half years of his life with his birth herd, but when he began to show interest in a new mare, the lead stallion was quick to show him the door. Out on his own, Ty found it difficult to survive. Thankfully, he found himself a bachelor herd of some older stallions to hang with. However, as time went on with them, he came to understand that these older stallions were deceitful and used trickery to get what they wanted. Eventually, they turned on him when they overthrew a large herd. The other stallions split the mares amongst themselves, but when Ty tried to take one for himself, they ganged up on him and drove him out. Beaten and low on spirits, Ty came across Jasper and his herd and was reunited with his half-sister.

Personality: Although Lettie is still very young and her true personality is yet to be developed, she is a very curious and adventurous filly. She has a natural desire for knowledge of the unknown and isn’t afraid of most things. She’s usually very happy and has a natural gift for bringing a smile to your face.

Brief History: Born to Jasper and Lillian.

AMAZIYAH

Status: Companion

Age: 8 months

Species: Grizzly Bear

Height: 3'5 @ shoulder (~10.2 hands)

Personality: Amaziyah has a very loyal heart and a kind soul, and is really quite different from other bears. While most grizzly's remain solitary, Amaziyah enjoys and often seeks out company, in true extrovert fashion. He also has a very natural curiosity about the world and yearns explore and learn. He can sometimes be dense and forgetful, though. Despite that, Amaziyah has a fierce sense of protection to those he cares for, and will throw himself in the face of danger to keep them safe.

Brief History: Amaziyah never knew his father, though he would come to know of him. He was the brutish and tyrannical grizzly who claimed his home in the woods of Sidus Isle. His mother really never had a choice in the matter, though once pregnant, she wanted to do her best to take care of her child. Unfortunately, when Amaziyah was only 3 months old, still far too young to be away from her, his mother was trapped by hunters and killed. Thankfully, he was found by a gracious stallion, Jasper, who took him into his little band, to the dismay of his mares.
