Your style here is totally my brand of smokes (just my little way of saying great work, y'see). Batman the Animated Series meets...well...you! What kinda pens are you using? I love your line work!

I wish i used good equipment, I'm actually kind of a comfort whore...
For me? the 3 most comfortable pens are these quasi cheapo Pentel Rolling Riders, Sanford Uniball Micros and a Staedtler PigmentLiner 0.1mm.

I used to work at an office supply store, and what they had in stock was what i became acustomed to draw with....and as far as lineweights and any sorta decent appearance in that whole arena? It all comes from after-the-fact computer clean-up.

i'm messing around with brush pens every once in a while- trying to beef up my repetoir
(as it were)

I know how it goes, man: I bounced around for most of my artistic childhood on cheap pens and markers from the local grocery store (usually fat laundry markers and tons and tons of Bic metal rollers). I sustained myself on water-based markers in highschool (BIG mistake, as they fade like hell after some time), and by college, had moved almost exclusively into various thicknesses of Sharpie markers (Hey, at least they were permanent!) until 1998 when cartoonist Greg Evans (creator of the comic strip Luann) introduced me to Micron Pigma markers, which, along with Sharpies, I've used ever since. In the past year I've begun to use Micron's brush markers for certain projects where such varying line thickness is useful ("A History of Linus" for example), but I feel that as of the past ten years I've pretty much found my lifemate as far as drawing supplies go, so I doubt I'll stray too far into alternate drawing supplies. Unless, that is, I ever make the big bucks and can afford (and can learn how to use) a Wacom tablet. But even then I'd never want to fully rely on a computer to create my stuff. I just need a pen or pencil in my hand to make my mark for full satisfaction, y'know? But regardless of all my mindless blabbering here, whatever tools you use for your lines, they rule, so keep up the great work.

Great job Matt, the drawing really makes me feel bad for the guy. Great drawing!

You didn't had to say, what had happened with that character. His emotions, wear and pose tell everything.
