Happy Be-lated Birthday Gabie! (you shouldn't be reading this, I still have to print and frame this for you)This was inspired by the crazy talented , I get a wonderland high from looking at her sketches, amazing! I adore the characters of Wonderland, they are so full of life. And mad. I like mad.
It took a while to finish, but finally its done, as usual I might go back and change some things, but I'll leave it as it is for now.

The lighting and background is fantastic and I adore this drawing, but something about Alice's face just seems a little too mature for me. Looks a little too much like Ariel's, not hers.

I don't think I've ever seen a drawing before, that so perfectly captures one of my favorite scenes from the Disney version of Alice in Wonderland. I've always had a soft spot for Stern Holloway's Cheshire Cat. My jaw's still dropping at how well you matched the colors and the atmosphere of that movie. I give you my highest praise: If I didn't know better, I'd swear this was Disney promotional material, or something similar.
