A wild guess here, but I've been speculating since they're inside the moon and all, whether it's the same ordeal within the sun of this world, and if that has something to do with the sword they are looking for. I'm getting some mother/daughter vibes off the girl and the woman in this panel, it gives me all sorts of ideas of what is the relation between these people and the moon they seem to worship are, and if the guy possibly has some similar connection with the sun. The woman pictured in the mural in panel 131 has blonde hair, which makes me wonder if there are some family lines at stake here.
What I love about this series is that no matter what theories people have, it relies on their previous guesses being correct as they dwelve into new ones. It makes me constantly go back to older panels to see what clues I might have missed. It's such a fun and engaging way to read a story where you could either be horribly wrong or somewhat right, but still have a blast reading.
Also the girl has been pulling some awesomely dynamic poses lately. Body language on point.
