Mishou!
Mishou means "unidentified" or "unknown". The volunteered "Radar" of the Other Flock. His senses have been increased by a significant amount. He's the youngest (not just cuz he's a kitten). He's from Nekoshima where he was recombined with 3 or 4% pigeon in a secret underground grungy laboratory. He's heterochromic. Mishou prefers fish to mice and birds.
He's most comfortable speaking with Nixie or Halo, since Halo is fluent in Japanese (as well as many other languages). He addresses Nyroc as "Nyroc-sama". Halo is "Halo-senpai" everyone else is "san" "chan" or "chun".
Mishou is a loyal, fierce, and loving friend. He always helps defend his human-avian friends whenever needed to the best of his abilities. Even though he is small, he's very brave. Mishou is also very noble. Even though he knows he is a feline, he acts more human than most people do. He'll put himself in danger to gain respect from his flock mates and do his part in protecting the Code.
Mishou does not let his past weigh him down. In fact he acts like the experiments were not that big of a deal sometimes. Mishou focuses more on others and not himself.

I really loved drawing Mishou with the short version of a katana in his mouth. I'm preparing for his entry in Volume 1 where he persuades Nyroc that he's useful and he's not a foe. He doesn't hesitate to make himself at home with the Other Flock. I wanted to bring out his inner samurai. Extended wings/feathers and cherry blossom petals falling around him made him look a bit more....................agile? Light? Epicness? Meh.......
