Lena seems to have advantages in reach/power
Gil seems to have speed, and from what I remember from seeing her in Cid's art, she has an advantage in strategy.
Without giving too much care into this (so probably consider this comment less than the more analysis heavy ones), I'd side with Gil.

I think for Gil to take the fight, she needs to get Lena out of her comfort zone. In a straight up boxing match, Lena most likely has the advanatge, even though Gil HAS fought bouts against men. (I'm not sure if it's the same for Lena). Lena is most likely the more powerful of the two, and has the reach advantage. I think a slower paced, distance fight favors the big Swede.
Gil needs to be the aggressor to win. She's probably going to take some punishment but if she can make it through the wall, she not only has the insides to work over, but she also has her skill in Muay Thai. She can use more of her body than Lena probably can. I think that if Gil does manage to get inside, the best thing Lena can do is to try and bully Gil to the canvas and then separate for a reset. (I don't think that she has any takedown experience, but a clinch and throw may work at least a few times. Gill will just have to worry about getting toppled over if she is clinched, but has her knees to help her out.

Lena will be a problem she will have to solve quickly. I'm pulling for Gil, I'm not betting any money on it. This is going to be Hagler Hearns all over again. We the viewers will be the big winners.!!!!
Btw, Gil needs a nickname. Too good a boxer not to have one. She is a princess, beautify long black hair and she pounds her opponents into darkness. "Princess of darkness"?????

I stand corrected, Gil does have some nicknames which I found in a caption under one of her images. "The Machine Girl, the Green-Eyed Devil, the Canadian Crusher " Those are better than "princess of darkness"!!!!!!

Oh, here we go with another Tall vs. short battle! Both pugilists look really good, but once again it's height/reach vs. tenacious short effort. One thing I strongly believe in is that the tyranny of distance can be conquered by the shorter fighter in any number of ways. If Gil's fleet enough and agile enough to avoid the leading jabs of the larger Lena she can get in, hammer the offense and get out to set up another opportune attack. Lena's long arms will have to work a lot to keep a feisty opposition from getting inside her zone, but she's definitely got a power advantage in those light blues she's got on her hands.
Can Gil take some hard punches and deliver a rebuttal inside with her fists and Muay Thai background? Does Lena get frustrated trying to keep Gil at bay? It all comes down to how the ring's space is used and who gets trapped where in a sticky predicament. Give Gil her due credit in this bout vs. a very tall opposition. If all outcomes came down to who's taller and has the longer reach, then ya might as well tell all the smaller participants to pack it in and watch the big galoots duke it out...... now that wouldn't be very interesting! Every bracket needs the more nimble, smaller, underdog/overachiever fighters to advance to the late rounds so there's a grand variety of style/character to watch and cheer for. Make your picks accordingly and try to see each matchup with the blinders off. Whatever the outcome, I know who I'm choosing.

I think we all know that Gil is tougher than a $2 steak. She will sit in the pocket and trade leather all day, but I think that works against her here against someone with way more height and power than her. On paper, it's not an upset, but Lena takes the win in a short but fireworks style fight.

Oh, this is interesting. There´s a mountain to climb for Gil, in the true sense of the meaning. 9 centimeters in height advantage for Lena may not count that much, even though she has a reach advantage. Gil is speedy, I guess, at least it looks like from her stature. The Finnish boxer is of solid build and for sure can take some punches, but what about kicks? If Gil is as fast as I think she is she will be all over Lena with fists, knees, and legs, and feet.
And by the way, CANADA RULES!

This fight is going to boil down to who can fight from her own distance. If Gil can't get inside Lena's reach, she's gonna get crushed. The other side of the coin says Gil would have a grand time on the inside. Real estate will be the key factor as to how this fight plays out. As we don't know Gil's weight with Lena being on the lighter side for her height, the difference in weight might not be all that considerable.
This will be an intriguing fight to follow.
