Ignis is an independent and hardworking individual with nothing nice to say, most of the time. Although he may not be the most sociable person, he takes pride in being strong, self-reliant and disciplined. He often believes that being self-sufficient is better than relying on people, because that often gives him a reason to have to give back (even favors, and factors of getting even), which most of the time is something he rather not do, due to his prideful nature. Quite stubborn, he is also the kind that would stand and fight to his very last breath. Even so, a part of him knows how to listen and he is also able to hold his tongue and be civil when presented with fact.

Quick to judge people on mere glance, he prefers solitude and to having little to a few close friends, especially those that could break through the wall that he puts up, plus those who don't mind his evasive behaviour and use of sarcastic words. In fact, persistence seems to be the only way to make him give into company. He is terrible at expressing what he really means, and due to that he often resorts to insulting or not saying anything at all. He is temperamental and moody too, he finds it difficult control his anger, and is very easily annoyed. Despite so, he is observant enough (if he only made more effort to instead of judging people asap) to know if a person is being genuine or fake. Only so, he would slowly let his guard down, and show his awkward tries to be nicer to those he actually makes effort to care about.

Professionally trained as a spy, he is capable of acting out of his usual character, but the current impersonation of Ivan Gutierrez is a man who is quite similar to his real personality, although more quiet and less snarkier. He also has alot more capabilities in holding his tongue when needed to, although he may be annoyed or boiling inside. Armed with a quick reflex, and a range of combat abilities, he could be a potentially dangerous opponent if brought up against.

Background:
Ignatiy, or Ignis was born and raised like a soldier by his widow father who was a Soviet Military Intelligence Officer. With the lack of childhood that many children was fortunate to have, he was taught several languages and given intense training in working in hostile environment, to better prepare him for his future responsibilities. It was all in favor to gain his father's praises, after all, he was his only family. With the intensive training, they emphasize on the different language, accent and habits so that they can talk effortlessly without sounding like a Russian. Combat and weapon-trained, he was ready to take on many tasks where he specialised in espionage and cover missions whenever he was assigned.A dark haired brunette named Ivan Gutierrez came looking for a job as a bartender for Isabel I de Castilla, a cruise ship that was going to be travelling from Gibraltar, Spain to Florida. With the sufficient skills, he was hired to work with the crew. The Spanish alias that he created with the help from the Soviet was solid, it took a few years to build and solidify, and he was set on his task to tail German Nazis on board the ship for information. With a strong alibi, he was able to gather the intel he needed to report back to the Soviets. What is left for now is to continue the bartending job, and mingle around till the ship docks to their final destination.However, before they all could, an unexpected turn of events occurred when Ignis and the rest finds himself trapped in a sinking ship, where he almost barely made it out alive. It became a fight for survival, and although he believed he was the selfish person who would save himself first, he find himself helping to ensure the survival of as many people as he could. Unable to locate the German Nazis on board the rescue ships, he half believed they were presumably dead. The information was delivered, but after that he seemed to have fallen off the Soviet's radar for a year.
It seems that he had been scouring for information regarding the sunken ship, completely and utterly intrigued by the mystery of how it come to sink, while working in a local bar in Barcelona. Upon the summon of the anniversary gathering at Strasbourg, he goes in hopes to find out the mystery behind it, or some answer. He was also interested to see how many of them survived, and if he could encounter certain people there.

- Trained to speak in Spanish, English and German, while native language is Russian.
- As Ivan, he speaks in a Spanish accent while fully understanding the other languages he knows while working in bar (particularly in eavesdropping bar conversations)
