I tried to grow poppies. I did get a few to grow, but they are a bit of a pain, they didn't come back the second year like they were supposed to. Well, try again next year. The grass is so well established here it's hard to get wild flowers going, I have a couple small patches, but spreading to new areas always gets overrun by the grass, at least so far. Oh, morning glories did well. But they just climb the grass.
