(And yes, those "ropes" are measuring tapes and she's holding a sewing needle instead of a sword. ***SYMBOLISM!!!***)

I saw this a while ago and always thought it was badass. Very well done replicating the tone of the statue and the logo of the original and Rarity really is a fitting pony for Lady Justice lol. I just finished listening to Eye of the Beholder and started up Fight Fire with Fire and happened to come across here again.... I don't listen to much Metallica any more (more progressive and brutal/heavy stuff tends to fill my ears these days) but getting back into them from getting my friend into metal with them has been awesome lol

I know you covered it in the description but I love the symbolism you used in the piece with the measuring tapes and the sewing needle. I really love how you replaced the money on the scales with gems and diamonds; Symbolism at it's finest.

Ha! Actually, I'd already made the drawing with plain ropes before realizing they had to be measuring tapes, so I wound up doing them all over. But of course Rarity has the right to change her mind.
