Okoth: "Paw paw?"
Yu: "Our great-grandfather, Posidon."
Okoth: "Wha..."

I made something with watercolor paper instead of my sketchbook for once!

I wanted to draw a scene of Yu meeting some of her other divine family, and I've had this concept of her interacting with a titanic Greek god in my mind for some time. I'm not sure how the majority of her mythological family feels about her, but I think those that know she exists at least tolerate her.

In Yu's story, many of the old gods were falling into deep slumbers or live more lethargically, interacting less and less with the world. Posidon and Triton reside in a cavern under the ocean, and their colors have darkened. In contrast, Yu's dad is still pretty active considering he's just a spry, young, 900 year old demigod.
