Finally got my contest entry done for 's Valentine's/White Day contest!...with like...five days to spare...
Welp, I was busy with requests and real life...
ANYWAYS...
So, it's not the typical "giving chocolate" drawing, but I couldn't resist something like this for the Zero Two gang. Iori is too young to worry about Valentine's Day/White Day, and I'm a Takari and Kenyako shipper, so...
That just left Daisuke. I could totally see a clueless V-mon thinking that this is something to celebrate...
...and Daisuke makes a real easy target, I gotta say.

Honestly, I think Daisuke is just in 02 for comic relief. I do like Ken's character, but it felt like nobody else was really developed (and Takeru and Hikari got the shot end of the stick and weren't given much of a personality).
Lot of problems with Zero Two...the characters is just one of them, and the plot is the rest of it.

Yeah the only attention they were given was in "His Masters Voice" (Kari) and "An old Enemy Returns" (T.K.) In fact, the latter episode is why T.K. is my favorite character. 02 was my favorite season until I re-watched Tamers, but T.K. is still my favorite digidestined.

Especially in US dub as Daisuke becomes the true loser. At lest he's not like that in original version.

Agreed! The dub makes light of the season, which is actually a lot darker than the dubbers lead us to believe.
