this piece managed to capture my eye right at the moment I saw it, and that really doesn't happen often. Her expression is fantastic: the is such madness, band yet a weird calmness in her eyes, it's captivating. The colors are so warm and full, I like the "bloody" feeling in her eyes and hands. The pic is also very alive, even though her expression is terrifyingly still. You can almost see something or someone pulling her up.

it is painted with watercolor pastels, little bit of acrylic wash, and pencils but not to much. most of it was done with those pastels.

This is incredible, I love the contrasting colors and THAT FACE and THAT EXPRESSION. Beautiful. I'm not much of a critique-er because I get a little sensitive when I get critiqued but since you requested it, here goes.
I love super duper contrast, so I kind of wish The background was more muted, which I feel silly saying because it is already so neutral. But do you know what I mean? I guess I just love that harsh red and black on the white.
