Description
Finally saw John Wick 4 and that movie is so full of stunningly beautiful visuals that I absolutely had to use some of those as references. This one here is from the rooftop of the Osaka Continental, and I loved both the composition and the colour palette of the shot. Would have been the ideal prompt for acrylics on black canvas, too, but unfortunately I own neither of those, so I made do with what I had at hand, that being ink and watercolour. Those who have been following my work for a while will probably have noticed by now that using suboptimal to wrong media is a recurring theme of my artist's career... But despite the endless layering, especially on the trees, the result came as a pleasant surprise - really didn't know what to expect when I started. However, one of these days I should really and finally get some acrylics, it might make my life easier
